The proposed acquisition is to obtain a study that identifies additive manufacturing technologies used by the defense industrial base and assesses the integration of additive manufacturing capabilities in university engineering education courses. The study will also include recommendations for improving the integration of additive manufacturing technologies in capstone courses for engineering programs amongst institutions of higher education.
