The Department of Defense (DOD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) on behalf of The Office of Industrial Policy intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). WHS/AD intends to issue a sole source contract to infoBASE publishers, inc., to provide the Foreign Investment Review Office with ten (10) Defense & Aerospace Competitive Intelligence Service (DACIS) licenses that also includes access to DoD Budget, Defense Mergers & Acquisitions (DM&A), FPDS Pro to enable research on Department of Defense equities which may include contracts and supported programs or systems. This includes information such as number of contracts, total value, and connections to DoD at the subcontractor level through prime relationships. The anticipated Period of Performance will be a 12-month base period (no option periods). This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this action is based on this notice and solely within the discretion of the government.
