The Defense Digital Service (DDS) is seeking subject matter experts in various technical intelligence data sources and for an experienced software engineering team to help build production tools to increase data interoperability, prioritize cases, and understand threat data. Most of the work will be on NIPRnet or the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). The Defense Digital Service (DDS) is developing technology to secure US Service Members deployed overseas. Through numerous technical discoveries and user research, DDS identified data silos and antiquated, unusable tools that caused time-consuming workflow challenges for users who were manually combing through large amounts of data that took too long to aggregate, prioritize and understand. DDS is working to integrate existing streams and sources of data via a web platform built using a modern framework, hosted on cloud-based infrastructure. This platform could enable automatic prioritization of threats based on various threat indicators, and thus, reduce the amount of time it takes to identify possible threats.
