The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters (ODASD/NM) seeks to identify existing modeling and simulation (M&S) capabilities to provide quantitative data and enable analyses that will support decision making for the nuclear enterprise. Specifically, the government is interested in models and tools that can support identification of the attributes and capabilities required to ensure the deterrent remains credible and effective in an era of great power competition and to inform program modernization acquisition activities.
