This is a combined synopsis/solicitation IAW the procedures in FAR 12.6 and 13.5. This contract would provide for a robust geodetic collection program, particularly the acquisition of scientific data over global regions where current holdings are void. The vendor will develop error compensation solutions adjusting for gravitational effects. This effort allows NGA to provide INS compensation models for DOD weapons platforms, in which gravity is the biggest source of error. See Statement of Work and RFP attachments for further details.
