The purpose of this notice is to publicly synopsize a requirement for Construct 3D Printer Room project based on the following scope: This project is to construct a room in an existing space in order to create a new printer room for owner-installed print equipment. A new wall will be constructed and door installed to divide the existing space and create the new room. A new 120/208V panelboard will supply electrical power for branch circuits and HVAC equipment. New lighting will be installed in the space. New HVAC equipment will be installed, including a fan coil unit, air exhaust and supply fans, ductwork, and connections to existing supply ducts, chilled water piping, and building control system. All work per the project specifications, drawings, and accompanying contract documents. The work shall be performed by an experienced contractor with the expertise to perform the requirement. This effort shall be set aside for small business under NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be an Invitation for Bid. The contract performance period shall be 300 calendar days. Once notice to proceed is issued, the first 30 days is offsite performance. This time is set aside for the preparation of submittals, Government review of submittals and ordering materials and equipment. The approximate cost of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3838 Vogel Rd in Arnold, MO. The Request for Proposals will be posted on or about June 25, 2024.
