The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a 40 by 65 foot building on 2nd Street, with original masonry exterior walls constructed in the 1830’s. The building is on the National Historic Register. One of the corners is settling and cracks have formed in the masonry walls. We are developing a project to construct an underpinning system, and restore the Building exterior envelope by reinforcing the foundation, arrest the wall settlement, potentially cross-tie the wall corner, and restore the wall to original condition with associated tuck-pointing, window replacement, and miscellaneous repairs as required by design. NGA is seeking capable Hubzone firms for this effort. NGA is asking that Hubzones capable of performing work in NAICS code 2381 respond to this RFI and demonstrate their capabilities to meet our requirements as detailed in paragraph 1 above. Direct examples of similar work on similar historical structures is requested from interested respondents. Information received will assist NGA in determining the capabilities of Hubzones to meet our requirement.
