The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a need for gravity data over the country of Mongolia. Specifically, terrestrial data is needed as a highresolution data set for our Earth Gravity Model. The Contractor shall survey a minimum of 750 new gravity stations inside Mongolia. The Contractor shall survey at a 5 km spacing along an approximately 1000 km section of the Mongolian-Chinese border. The Minimum Bounding Rectangle (MBR) is defined by a box whose corners are Latitude 49.86 Longitude 114.968 in the northwest, Latitude 46.481 Longitude 114.968 in the southwest, Latiude 49.86 Longitude 120.098 in the northeast, and Latitude 46.481 Longitude 120.098 in the southeast. The Contractor shall survey to a distance of 25 km from the Chinese border into Mongolia. The Contractor shall simultaneously collect precise GPS locations and both orthometric and ellipsoidal heights. See Attachments for additional details.
