AMENDMENT 0001 EXTENDS THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE TO 21 MAY 2019 AT 12 PM CT. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) proposes to award a Firm-Fixed Price, Lowest Price Techincally Acceptable, single award contract to perform an airborne gravity survey over the African countries of Namibia and Uganda as well as process the raw gravity data from the surveys. This effort is to maintain an Earth Gravitational Model (EGM) and an associate geoid and error dataset as part of the World Geodetic System 1984. The current model is the EGM 2008. The next iteration of the model, EGM 2020 will be released in December 2019. The gravity data that goes into an EGM is also required for defelection of the vertical models produced by NGA, which are required for advanced inertial navigation systems. The techniques employed in the development of EGM 2008 could be used to evaluate new gravity data as well, which would enhance the ability to meet Department of Defense requirements. When used in conjunction with new satellite gravity information, the EGM 2020 will be the most accuarte EGM available. Vendors must be approved and registered in System for Award Management (SAM) (Website located at https://www.sam.gov/portal /SAM/#1) before award can be made. See attached solicitation document and Statement of Work. Please submit your proposal electronicall to both Tom Jaeger at thomas.e.jaeger@nga.mil and Kelsey Linnemann at kelsey.r.linnemann@nga.mil.
