Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules, and drawings forming parts thereof, for the replac... Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules, and drawings forming parts thereof, for the replacement of AHU-1 and associated pumps. Work includes the removal of AHU-1, the freon, several condenser water pumps, chilled water pumps, and secondary loop pumps. The contractor will provide and install new equipment for the equipment removed. New wiring and new breakers will be required. The work shall be performed by a general or mechanical contractor, which has five (5) demonstrable years of experience in chiller replacement work. This effort shall be set aside for small business under NAICS code 236220, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 182 days. The contractor will not be allowed to start on-site performance before the 61st day after notice to proceed is issued. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of government services. Premium time will only be allowed as needed. The approximate cost of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3838 Vogel Road in Arnold, MO.
