The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to conduct a full and open competition for the Astrea contract, a follow-on to the Spectrum contract. The Astrea contract will produce a database for characterizing effective reflectivity, emissivity, and radiance with associated error estimates. The anticipated solicitation release date is on or around April 21, 2026. The solicitation is expected to be posted on the classified Intelligence Community-Acquisition Research Center (IC-ARC) website, which requires a specific registration process to access.
