The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) seeks information on how an interested contractor could provide a commercial, off-the-shelf (COTS) objective decision-making assistive technology (AT) reading accommodation assessment tool for K-12 special education (including Section 504) and regular education students that (1) is vendor-hosted and cloud-based and (2) allows individual and group screenings of K-12 reading passages. This request for information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning and does not constitute a request for quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. Although your company’s response to this RFI is greatly appreciated, the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; i.e., all costs associated with responding to this RFI are solely the responder’s responsibility. Not responding to the RFI does not preclude a company from responding to a future RFQ. IF an RFQ is released, it will be synopsized on the SAM.gov website. Potential responders are responsible to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. We request your response no later than Friday, February 28, 2025 at 12:00 PM EST. DoDEA has a requirement for theatre curriculum resource for students in middle and high school drama classes. The required print and digital resources will (1) be broad in scope and focus on multiple areas of the thespian arts, such as acting, characterization, technique, production, history, and culture and (2) provide age- and grade-appropriate resources. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13 and will be competed as full and open and may result in a single or multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract award(s) with a five year base with one 12 month option period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 511130 - Book Publishers. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management prior to submitting quotes. The RFQ, HE125420Q0022, and all attachments necessary to prepare a quote(s) will be available on beta.SAM.gov on or about April 01, 2020, with a tentative closing date of on or about May 01, 2020.
