This synopsis is to make available a notice of proposed contract action as required by FAR 5.201. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires digital courseware for two year-long high school level Engineering and Technology courses to prepare students for careers in the engineering industry. The courses will focus on tasks performed by professionals in various engineering careers and be aligned to adopted DoDEA Engineering and Technology standards and competencies find them at: https://www.dodea.edu/Curriculum/CareerTechEd/upload/stem_st.pdf https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WeVNm4wZMAV2Pr46lKmdILyBYEbutN6O?usp=sharing The Engineering and Technology program be appropriate for students in grades 9-12. The program introduces students to the concepts and equipment related to the engineering design process. Through a hands-on, project-oriented approach, students apply knowledge on project management, and engineering design techniques using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Examination of mathematical and scientific applications will include but not be limited to velocity, acceleration, and displacement. Also, the courses examine the major categories of the production process. The period of performance will have a base year and four option years. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 and may result in a single or multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity award(s) with a base year and four (4) twelve-month option years. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) #611110 Elementary and Secondary Education (career and technology) and the business size is 12M.
