A solicitation is expected to be posted mid June. Please continue to monitor SAM.gov. In response to the shutdowns caused by COVID-19, DoDEA established a K-8 virtual school in FY20 via contract HE125420D0028. DoDEA has a continued need for seat-based licenses for grades 2-8 online courses that will be taught by DoDEA teachers. The DoDEA Virtual School will offer these courses to students who require (1) advanced academic work in one or more core content areas and/or (2) one or more core content courses due to other circumstances. The courses offered will be in the core academic subjects: English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. DoDEA cannot predict the exact number of seats that will be required and suspects that the number may vary significantly from year to year but is estimating 500 seats for individual courses and 50 seat licenses for 4-course bundles. DoDEA prefers one contractor but may make multiple awards.
