DoDEA requires a Digital Music Learning Tool (DMLT) as an instructional resource to increase student learning and achievement. The DMLT will be used for the following secondary level music courses: alternative ensemble, band, chorus, computer music, guitar, music appreciation, music theory, piano, and strings. The DMLT will include the following five features: music performance assessment tool, music library database, music notation software, video lesson database, and digital audio workstation. For the DMLT platform, DoDEA requires the following tools: 1) Music Performance Assessment Tool 2) Music Library Database 3) Music Notation Software 4) Video Lesson Database 5) Digital Audio Workstation 6) Music Appreciation Resources 7) AP® Music Theory Resources.
