The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires print and/or digital instructional resources for World Language Instructional Resources. Although print instructional resources supported by digital resources are preferred, DoDEA will also accept digital only instructional resources. DoDEA also requires robust product training and professional learning for each language. DoDEA expects to make multiple awards, each for a 5-year base period, with one option year. Although DoDEA would prefer to have one contractor for each language and all its levels, one contractor might be awarded for certain levels of a language, e.g., Levels I-III of a language may be awarded to a contractor, while another contractor might be awarded Levels IV-V and AP of that same language. DoDEA requires the following languages and levels: Arabic - Levels I-V Chinese (Mandarin) - Levels I-V French - Levels I-V, AP German - Levels I-V, AP Italian - Levels I-V, AP Japanese - Levels I-V, AP Korean - Levels I-V Turkish - Levels I-III Spanish - Levels I-V, AP The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 513130 (Book Publishers) and the applicable PSC is 7610 (Books and Pamphlets). Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their quotes. DoDEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE125424Q0002 in support of this requirement. This requirement will be procured using FAR Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be competed under Small Business Set-Aside and will result in single or multiple, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity award(s) with a 5 Year Base Period and Base year + 1 Option Year. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 11/30/2023 and an award date on or about 05/02/2024. This is not a request for proposals or quotations.
