THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. This synopsis is to make available a notice of proposed contract action as required by FAR 5.2. This is not a solicitation. Vendors should not submit offers until the solicitation is posted to SAM.gov. The Department of Defense Education Activity requires Career and Technical Education(CTE) courseware for 7th and 8th grade students that provides the fundamental skills and understandings needed to pursue future college and/or career studies. All 16 Career Clusters identified by the US Department of Education fully digital resources. DoDEA requires Fifty-two DoDEA schools serve approximately 9,000 students in grades 7-8. DoDEA has adopted the College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS) in mathematics, literacy, the arts, social studies, and science. DoDEA reflect that success in college and/or careers are aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), National Core Art Standards (NCAS), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), College, Career, and Civic Life (C3). Framework for Social Studies State Standards, and Society for Health and Physical Education Standards (SHAPE AMERICA). DoDEA has also adopted the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Students. DoDEA intends to use solicitation HE1254-22-R-0004 in support of this requirement. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This requirement will be competed under Small Business Set-Aside and may result in single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity award(s) with a 5-year base period and 5 12 month option periods. The anticipated contract is Firm-Fixed-Price. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code #611710 (Educational Support Services) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is U099, (Education/Training- Other) in the System for Award Management prior to submitting a proposal. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Interested vendors add your Company’s information to the Interested Vendors List under this post on SAM.gov website. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 11 January 2022. A determination by the DoDEA not to compete this proposed contract is solely within discretion of the Government. It is the responsibility of the potential vendors to monitor SAM.gov for any information that may pertain to a future solicitation.
