Resources must meet the following requirements: Be aligned with NCCAS/DoDEA’s Music Content Standards. Be developmentally appropriate for the age, grade, and stage of learning. Have a database with at least 1000 songs that cover a wide variety of age-appropriate themes. Include downloadable vocal and/or instrumental sheet music with full rights to photocopy for student use. Possess user-friendly navigation for song topics, song instruments, and holiday music selections. Have interactive games/activities for listening and singing skills and the elements and principles of music. DoDEA expects to award one contract with a five-year base period.

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) requires K-8 Music Digital resources to address the DoDEA Music Content Standards, which are identical to the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards (NCCAS), which may be found at https://nafme.org/. DoDEA intends to issue solicitation HE1254-22-Q-0002 in support of this requirement. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This requirement will be competed under Full and Open Competition and may result in a single or multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity award(s) with a five-year base period and one-year option period. The anticipated contract is Firm-Fixed-Price. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) #611710 Education Support Services and the business size is 16.5 million dollars will be used for this requirement. Interested parties must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management prior to submitting a quote. The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 15 November 2021, with a closing date on or about 14 December 2021. This is not a request for proposals or quotations.
