SYNOPSIS This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a Request for Quote (RFQ). This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This is strictly a synopsis to inform industry about an upcoming requirement. The Government will not accept any quotes or proposals based on this notice. This requirement was previously solicited under HE125421Q3000. HE125421Q3000 was cancelled due to the government needed to re-evalute its requirement based on industry questions. The PWS has been revised and The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to issue an RFQ on or after March 02, 2021 for a Facility Enterprise Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). DoDEA has a requirement to manage facility operations of routine and non-routine work for our Education facilities. DoDEA currently uses one Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) which covers our worldwide Regional facility operations and require the continuation ofone CMMS. Schools shall be identified within districts identified in each Region. Districts and Regions shall be fenced off from other Districts and Regions. The CMMS shall allow performance of all Facility Operations requirements to include facility repairs, maintenance management, event management, facility asset management and business operations. The CMMS shall capture repair, service and support work requests to the room level of individual school buildings and to the individual equipment asset within the school. The CMMS shall allow for scheduling of routine preventive maintenance tasks of typical facility systems and accept work orders for facility repairs, service requirements and support requests. The CMMS shall allow for complete and accurate reports at specific locations within Regions or across all regions based on selected report criteria. The CMMS will be a single award Firm-Fixed-Price contract. This acquisition will be solicited as a full and open competition using the procedures set forth in FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition. All terms, conditions, evaluation procedures, and instructions to Vendors will be specified in the RFQ.
