Sources Sought Notice (HE12542139275) Cybersecurity Support Services The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), as one of only two Federally operated school systems, is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the DoD. DoDEA is globally positioned, operating 160 accredited schools in 8 districts located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Employing approximately 15,000 employees who serve more than 69,688 children of active-duty military and DoD civilian families, DoDEA is committed to ensuring that all school-aged children of military families are provided a world-class education that prepares them for postsecondary education and/or career success and to be leading contributors in their communities as well as in our 21st century globalized society. The proposed contract will be for a 12-month base period and up to four 12-month option periods. The anticipated NAICS code for this acquisition is 541519 – (Other Computer Related Services). The award will be competitive for 8(a) STAR III program participants only. In accordance with the 8a STARS III Ordering guide, a multi-phased approached will be used to solicit this requirement. This Sources Sought notice consists of phase 1 of the multi-phase approach. STARS III Industry partners who are interested in receiving the Request for Quote (RFQ) for this requirement SHALL send an email to Hillary.Turnbull@dodea.edu, NO LATER THAN 14 February 2022 stating their affirmative interest in the acquisition. No late email will be accepted. Note: a non-response to this Sources Sought notice constitutes that an industry partner is opting-out of receiving the RFQ and will not be considered. This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ); it is strictly a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. This SSN is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a RFQ. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely the responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Sources Sought.
