The tool will allow students and teachers to collect, store, share, and assess student artwork. DoDEA requires virtual professional learning for art teachers. DoDEA has approximately 38,515 students in grades K-5 and 185 elementary art teachers. That number may vary slightly throughout the life of the contract. DoDEA expects to award one contract for a 12-month base year and four 12-month option years.

The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought synopsis. The Government will not reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has a requirement for a (1) for a cloud-based digital art portfolio, which will permit the students and teachers to collect, store, share, and assess student artwork, (2) provide for virtual professional learning for art teachers. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. This requirement falls under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 518210 – Data Processing, Hosting & Related Services. No information concerning the solicitation or requests for clarifications will be provided. Administration table of small business size standard is 35.0 million. Firms responding to the Sources Sought Notice are requested to provide DoDEA all appropriate documentation (i.e., a detailed capability statement and/or relevant past performance history documenting its ability to perform similar requirements) -- to support its ability to carry-out the requirements listed herein via e-mail. The capability statements shall not exceed four (4) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; and 3) Familiarity and service knowledge. Capabilities statement shall be electronically submitted to: phillip.james@dodea.edu no later than the response date, February 24, 2020. The requested requirements are outlined in the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) attached. There will be no responses/phone calls accepted for any additional questions and or inquiries. If a solicitation is released, it will be via beta.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor beta.SAM.gov for any information that may pertain to this Source Sought Notice or a future solicitation.
