The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has a Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 requirement to provide educational services for approximately 610 children in kindergarten - grade 8 who are dependents of military and Department of Defense personnel residing on Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB). In addition to providing for all aspects of the State of Massachusetts Regulation and General Law: Title 12, Chapters 69 - 78A, https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXII this work includes providing food service, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, health services and student transportation services. DoDEA is seeking information from interested contractors regarding the interest and capability of school districts, charter school companies and for-profit educational companies to compete for contractual services to meet this requirement. The solicitation is expected to be released in December of 2019 and an award for a base year contract with four additional option years is expected to be made in April of 2020. Instruction begins for students on or about Monday, August 24, 2020. For additional information, please see the attached RFI.
