This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). Please note that this is not a request for quote or request for proposal. This RFI serves as market research for DoDEA in seeking industry capabilities to assist the Government in determining potential sources able to satisfy this requirement. The requirement is for sports official services for the DoDEA-E Athletic Program for schools in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, and the UK. The contractor shall provide the required number of certified officials as required by National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Sports to be officiated are football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, and wrestling. The following are the yearly workload estimates per sport: Football: 48 regular season and 10 post season/European Championship games estimated between September and November. Volleyball (Girls and Boys (Med only)): 120 regular season and 120 Tournament/European matches estimated between September and November. Basketball (Boys/Girls): 115 regular season and 130 Tournament/European games estimated between November and February. Baseball (Boys): 105 regular season and 32 Tournament/European games estimated between March and May. Softball (Girls): 105 regular season and 32 Tournament/European games estimated between March and May. Soccer (Boys/Girls): 72 regular season and 120 Tournament/European games estimated between March and May. Wrestling: 800 regular season matches, and 600 post season matches estimated between November and February. RFI Submission: Potential sources are invited to submit a Capabilities Statement, up to 5 pages, in response to this RFI. Responses should address the following: 1. Potential Source's Capability to: provide NFHS certified officials (non-certified officials may not officiate) provide the required number of officials for all games and a plan to provide backup officials in case of last minute absences/delays provide a quality assurance plan to ensure officials follow the rules of NFHS and the terms and conditions of the contract meet officiating needs even when the schedule is provided to the contractor with short notice and/or there are last minute schedule changes 2. Past performance that is within scope of the RFI requirement All responses should be submitted via e-mail to robin.castoldi@dodea.edu no later than 11:00 am Central Europe Time on 14 February 2020. Only MS Word/Excel compatible files or Adobe Acrobat PDF files in electronic correspondence are acceptable. No telephonic question/requests will be accepted. All information submitted to the Government for consideration is at the expense of the contractor, and will not be reimbursed or returned to contractor. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to monitor this site for release of a solicitation if this becomes an actual requirement.
