The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to procure student transportation services within the Sasebo Military Community through a single contract. The Contractor is required to provide all personnel, supervision, services, and equipment necessary to safely transport DoDEA students and other authorized individuals to and from their designated schools, alternate sites for classes, and authorized school activities. Services include Daily Commute, Curricular, Co-curricular, and Far East events. Services will be performed in accordance with the route sheets the Government provides. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13, a single award Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Sasebo Student Transportation Services, DoDEA-Pacific East District. Services will be for a 5-year period, which includes a Base Period of one (1) year and four (4) one-year Option Periods.
