DoDEA requires intentionally aligned off-the-shelf curricular resources that (1) are based on the most current research for mathematics instruction and aligned to CCSSM, and (2) provide thorough guidance for teachers to successfully implement the resource (3) provides thorough guidance for teachers towards differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners, including English Language Learners and students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). (4) Materials contain a variety of formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress. (5) Professional learning to implement the program with fidelity and throughout Base Years of contract needs to be available. DoDEA expects to award one contract for a 5-year base period plus one 12-month option period. The requirement is based on the current number of DoDEA students and teachers.
