This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has a requirement to provide instructor training/certification and ongoing technical support to include the monitoring of quality assurance and performance in conformance with Cisco's Networking Academy Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). The professional learning component includes virtual training for both new teacher training, certified teachers, and selected above-school level subject-matter experts. Although numbers may vary slightly in the option years, DoDEA currently has nine IT Essential programs systemwide. See draft PWS for more information. This will be a commercial procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 as unrestricted under full and open competition and is anticipated to result in a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity award with a one (1) year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. The anticipated contract type is Firm-Fixed-Price. The RFQ, HE1254-20-Q-0027, and all attachments necessary to prepare the quote(s) will be available on beta.SAM on or about May 26, 2020, with a tentative closing date on or about June 26, 2020.
