Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), Mid-Atlantic District, Field Support Procurement Branch is currently conducting market research to identify companies capable of providing Commercial washer and dryer extract appliances. DoDEA is seeking input from Small Business Socio-Economic contracting programs (i.e. Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), HUBZONE, 8(a), and Small Business set-aside). Description of Product Prospective contractor(s) shall provide the following: One (1) Belco Commercial Washer –extractor, 60lb. Automatic Supply Injection Cylinder Size: 28 9/16” diameter x 23 7/8” depth 8.8 cubic feet Capacity: 62 lb. Dimensions: 33” width x38” depth x 55 1/2 “height 6 Wash speed: 42 rpm Extraction speed: 497 rpm Electrical Service: 208-240/60/1 Phase (6.9 amp draw; 15 amp circuit breaker) One (1) Belco Commercial Dryer; Size: 50 lb. Athletic Dryer Electric Heat w/ Temp Settings: Game Uniforms-100, Practice Uniform-140, Towels-180 208 volt/3phase/ 70 amp draw, 100 amp circuit breaker or 480 volt / 3 phase / 40 amp draw, 50 amp circuit breaker Vendor must have a brand name or equal product with all the specifications listed above. Removal/Installation of items and training on products are required. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for conducting market research and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB), or Request for Quotations (RFQ), and does not obligate the Government to any current or future commitments. The Government will not pay/reimburse any costs or charges resulting from contractors' responses to this RFI. Sources are urged to describe their capabilities in sufficient detail to allow DoDEA to define subsequent proposal opportunities. Capability statements shall consist of no more than 5 pages and include a cover page with the Company's name, Business mailing address, Point of contact Telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Commercial and Government Entity/NATO Code (CAGE/NCAGE), Business Type (i.e. small, women-Owned etc...) For the purpose of this acquisition, the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 335220, size standard $12M. Please note, while proposals from vendors not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will be evaluated, only businesses with an Active SAM registration will be eligible to receive contracts with the Department of Defense Education Activity.
