28 August 2024: DTRA has provided a draft Statement of Objectives (SOO) as an attachment to the RFI for industry comment and has also posted answers to all questions received so far in response to the RFI. The RFI itself has been amended to reflect responses to questions and the draft SOO feedback requested, provide industry day details, add a new email POC, and extend the RFI response date to 13 September 2024 ("RFI_CTR_AAS_Recompete_28Aug2024_Update.docx represents the latest RFI). All changes from the original RFI are highlighted in yellow. The Government has also posted a list of GFP the Government anticipates making available to the prospective awardee for planning purposes. If a company has already submitted a response to the RFI, they are welcome to submit a revised RFI response based on this new information before the deadline. 06 August 2024: The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in support of the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program (CTR) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide advisory and assistance (A&AS) services in support of the CTR mission. The attached document contains all details pertaining to this request for information (RFI). The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current industry practices that would meet DTRA’s requirements, ascertain the level of interest in this requirement, assess market conditions, and supplement market research for this requirement. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations nor does the Government promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, DTRA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.
