NOTICE TYPE Solicitation SYNOPSIS This is a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Solicitation for Brand Name Award – DTRA intends to award a contract for brand-specific, commercial items, on the basis of Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable to one of the only two sources known to it for BioFire Defense products and support in accordance with the attached specification document.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334516. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have fifteen (15) days, through 1400 EDT, 25 August 2022, from the date of publication of this solicitation notice, to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Copies of the solicitation will be available to interested parties on 26 August 2022. Copies of the BioFire RFQ will be available for three business days only and responses to the RFQ shall be due not later than 1400 EDT, August 30, 2022, three business days thereafter. The completed SF 1449 and separate quote, shall be submitted to Ernest Caldwell and Russell V. Kelley, III at ernest.caldwell.civ@mail.mil and russell.v.kelley.civ@mail.mil . Responses received after 1400 EDT, 30 August 2022, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this solicitation and will not be considered. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
