This is a sources sought synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government requests all responsible sources respond to this notice in writing including details of your ability to provide this service to all locations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination will be based upon the responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) has a requirement for preventative maintenance (PM) and repair services on Government Owned Miscellaenous food Processing Equipment (MFP) for commissaries located at Barksdale, Ft Polk, New Orleans, LA and Gulfport, Keesler, MS. The MFP Equipment consists of conveyor/meat/portable, mixer/grinder/tandem, band saws/meat, rotary oven/electric/single, mini-rotary oven/proofer/combo, proofer/roll-in, molder/bulker/meat attachment, meat tenderizer/table top, meat slicer/cleaver, meat slicer/automatic, meat chopper/table top, and rotisserie. The requirement will be solicited as a 100% total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classisfication System (NAICS) code is 811310, and the business size standard is $7.5 million. Firms may indicate their interest in this requirement by submitting a statement verifying that their company is capable of providing maintenance and repair services for these locations. Responses are welcome from small businesses. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.
