REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) to identify potential sources, and to determine if this effort can be competitive or be Set-Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811310 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 500 employees. The proposed PSC code is 9950. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, the contractor is asked to provide a description of similar products offered to the Government and/or to like commercial customers within the past 3 years. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the Defense Commissary Agency is seeking sources for a hybrid FFP and T&M maintenance contract for miscellaneous food processing equipment in DeCA commissaries that do not currently have a maintenance contract on this type of equipment. Award will be made for a base year and 2 option years. This is a combined solicitation for the following areas: Group 11 - Fallon, NV Group 17 - Bangor NSB & Bremerton, WA Group 19 - Cannon, WA It is not necessary to bid on all three groups; multiple awards can be issued.
