This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis for grocery shopping carts with toy body design. This equipment will be used by Defense Commissary Agency commissaries in the continental United States (including Hawaii & Alaska) and overseas locations (including Puerto Rico, Far East, Guam, Europe & Pacific Theater). However, for OCONUS locations, with the exception of Alaska and Hawaii the contractor would only be responsible for preparation for overseas shipment and delivery to the port. Only one Firm-Fixed Price contract is contemplated. The FSC is 7290, the business size is 750 employees, and the NAICS Code is 333924 for this requirement. This is not a Request for Proposal. The Defense Commissary Agency has a requirement to provide shopping carts with toy body design to commissary stores within the contiguous United States, including Alaska and Hawaii and outside the contiguous United States to include Far East, Puerto Rico, Pacific Theater and Europe. The required shopping carts must meet or exceed the attached specifications of Commissary Equipment Description (CED) 2E09. The contract will be for one base year and four option years. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 333924; Business Size Standard is 750. Firms may indicate their interest in this requirement by submitting a statement verifying that their company is capable of providing a shopping cart with toy body design that complies with all of the specifications of the CED. Responses shall be received within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
