REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) to identify potential sources, and to determine if this effort can be competitive or be Set-Aside for Small Business. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339950 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 500 employees. The proposed PSC code is 9950. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, the contractor is asked to provide a description of similar products offered to the Government and/or to like commercial customers within the past 3 years. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the Defense Commissary Agency is seeking sources for commercial off the shelf meat and product signage for use in its commissary stores. If DeCA awards a future contract, DeCA intends to place orders on a per store basis as needed. This would be the same type of signage available to commercial grocery stores for display purposes in their meat and product areas. The signage offered must be complete (commercial off the shelf). The product signs must include a pictorial representation of the products. None of the artwork on the signage will be government owned designs.
