The NAICS Code is 311611. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking potential sources and information in anticipation of a requirement to provide and deliver Program Buy Fresh Beef and Frozen Coarse Ground Beef Products to the Central Meat Processing Plant (CMPP), Europe Area (OCONUS). DeCA is a Department of Defense (DoD) Agency, headquartered at Fort Lee, Virginia, and operates a worldwide chain of commissaries to provide groceries to military personnel, retirees, and their families. The attached form is a request for industry feedback and each company is encouraged to complete this form. This is for informational purposes only and is not a solicitation for offers. Companies are encouraged to explore the possibility of creating "teaming" arrangements with other companies and competing in the upcoming solicitation or inquire with other companies on subcontracting possibilities. After collection of this feedback, a notice will be issued via beta.SAM.gov website: https://beta.sam.gov/ Contract Opportunities (FBO) to announce the subsequent issuance of a formal solicitation, which will also be posted in the same FBO venue.
