Department of Defense (DoD) participates in the following INCITS working groups: Cyber Security, Distributed Application Platforms & Services, and Computer Graphics & Image Processing. These are directly related to the information assurance and security, and mediation for maintaining the operational cyberspace integrity of the DODIN services and is essential for DoD transformation to a Joint Information Environment.
