This project will upgrade the Raised Access Floor to meet load capacity in the computer rooms. All access floor panels shall be replaced with concrete core panels and upgrade the access flooring structure with new stringers to support a floor static design load of 2,500 pounds and a rolling load of 2,000 pounds with a basket weave stringer configuration. Lifting of existing racks shall be required for the removal and installation of the raised access floor panels. Clean the structural floor during floor replacement. Work includes all installation of equipment, electrical supplies, connections, and testing, quality control and parts warranty. This is a requirement of the DoD Core Data Center (CDC) reference architecture and CDC engineering standards. A site visit will be offered at the place of performance identified in the PWS for the Raised Floor Upgrade project, Data Center San Antonio, TX. The site visit is scheduled for March 09, 2021 with two sessions, one at 9:00 am and another at 1230 pm Central Time (CDT). Questions should be addressed to mark.e.kraft2.civ@mail.mil.
