This extension is required to provide highly specialized services, which include a leased space segment, teleport services, leased dedicated terrestrial connections, and connectivity from the teleport to leased lines via the contractor’s terrestrial backbone. The contractor must also provide configuration management support for the MPM-1000 LC modems and networks as an end-to-end managed service. The PoP of the six-month extension will be from January 15, 2021 through July 14, 2021 for both agreements, with optional performance periods authorized for support as needed through July 14, 2022. This will ensure continued intelligence support for Trojan and their mission partners, leaders, and the Program Manager (PM) Prophet System (a dedicated all-weather, 24-hour, near-real-time, ground-based tactical Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare system). The service is required in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
