This notice is for information and planning purposes only. In accordance with Part 8 & 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the Government is conducting market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources in Drycleaning and Laundry Services in accordance with Government requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. Proprietary information will be accepted and handled appropriately. Responders should indicate which portions of their responses are proprietary and should mark them accordingly. The Government is not obligated to and will not reimburse the Contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. Description: The Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) is seeking responsible contractors to provide professional cleaning, removal of old name tapes (trousers and blouse only), sewing of new white name tapes (trousers and blouse only), delivery, and pick-up services for uniform items such as, trousers, blouses, shorts, polypro cold weather long-sleeve shirts, windbreakers, and winter jackets with liner (seasonal) at Naval Station Great Lakes, IL. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, supplies, transportation (pickup and delivery of uniforms), tools and equipment necessary for these services. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 812320, Drycleaning and Laundry Services, and the Size Standard is $5.5M. NSWC anticipates conducting an acquisition pursuant to FAR Parts 12 and 13, and awarding a single award, firm fixed-price (FFP) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Place of Performance: Naval Station Great Lakes, IL.
