LM-1 Degausser and DX-8 Destruction Device The Requesting Agency seeks to issue a sole source firm fixed price order to Data Security, Inc. via GSA Schedule GS-35F-0535T for the purchase of four LM-1 degaussers and four DX-8 destruction devices. The system accessories associated with these devices include four large carts, four Teflon sheet replacement kits, four DX-8 high volume system chutes, four six foot cleated conveyors, and four DX-8 cleated conveyor belt chutes. These products are the only devices that meet all essential characteristics to include NSA approval for products, conveyor belt technology, three-second cycle time and one-touch operation. No other products listed in the NSA EPL for Degaussers and HDD destruction connect to provide a one touch degauss and destroy process.
