This RFI is for the purpose of gathering market information to assist the Government in deciding future acquisition methods. HQ USSOCOM is seeking inputs from industry to establish a multiple award contract vehicle capable of rapidly acquiring SOCOM unique munitions to streamline our ammunition procurement process Estimated contract length is 7-10 years SOCOM is only seeking input from manufacturers, not distributors. Some items falling under the category of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 will be eligible for sole source contracts under this family of contracts SOCOM is considering a large business and a small business pool and specifically requests information on daily, weekly and monthly production, as well as your ability to manufacture all, some, or none of the round components. SOCOM would require the use of US Government approved energetic components. SOCOM understands the current market, and requests you base your information “in a perfect world” and we will go from there All interested sources should submit their capabilities for producing the requested ammunition. The respondent must demonstrate and provide valid documentation that they have the manufacturing ability to produce the requested ammunition. We request all entrants submit up to a five page white paper (not including cover sheet) detailing your Production Capability including component manufacturing capability Quality Control Standards Management Please include on the cover sheet your company name, address, Business POC, telephone number, email address, Cage Code, DUNS Number, Company Size (please specify as either Large, Foreign, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Woman- Owned Small Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone concern, Veteran-Owned Small Business, or Service-Disabled Small Business) Foreign companies should add an extra page to their submissions detailing shipping methods to the US Identify any proprietary information submitted. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this request. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government.
