The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Directorate of Procurement, on behalf of USSOCOM Program Executive Office – SOF Warrior (PEO-SW), is considering the award of a contract for Special Operations Forces Linguist Support Services II (LSS II). The contemplated contract is a Firm-Fixed Price single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an estimated ceiling of $248M. The anticipated IDIQ ordering period is five years. The estimated Full Time Equivalents (FTE) for this effort is 135. The Government intends to solicit via full and open competition and award according to Best Value Source Selection Procedures. The primary NAICS code for this effort is: 541930. Estimated RFP posting date: 1 March 2023. Linguist Support Services II is a highly specialized requirement. The Government may require a certain number of linguists to receive training in Special Skills, which includes, but is not limited to parachuting, rappelling, fast roping, and other insertion/extraction techniques. If required, the Government will provide Special Skills training. Individuals selected for Special Skills training shall pass the U.S. Army Physical Fitness Test (pushups, sit-ups, and 2-mile run) and be able to complete a 3-mile trail hike in under 60 minutes while carrying a 30-lbs. ruck sack. Additionally, the Government will require vendors to possess a final Top Secret Facility Clearance with approved safeguarding at the minimum Secret level as accredited by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) at the time of proposal submittal.
