The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Ametek-Rotron via their distributor All Clear Aerospace DBA Kellstrom Defense, 15501 SW 29 Street, Suite 101 Miramar, FL 33027. (CAGE: 1ZK21) to purchase four (4) Cockpit Blower Units. The intended award will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. The intended contract action is for a commodity for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to develop engineering descriptions, technical data packages, or specifications necessary to permit full and open competition. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this sources sought synopsis are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting substantiation input to TAKO Contract Specialist Trey Carter via email at trey.d.carter.ctr@socom.mil no later than 12:00 pm Eastern Time on 25 August 2022.
