The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) anticipates contracting on a sole source basis with Triumph Engine Control Systems, 1 Charter Oak Blvd, West Hartford, CT 06133-1328. (CAGE: 11599) for update, modification, and installation of the electronic control unit interface computer software onto a contemporary laptop to work with engine control unit part number 114215-5A2-8100 and provide training for operation. The intended award will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order. The intended contract action is for a commodity for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Government does not possess and cannot furnish the technical data required to develop engineering descriptions, technical data packages, or specifications necessary to permit full and open competition. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this solicitation are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting substantiation input to Procurement Technician Steven Belowich via email at steven.m.belowich.civ@mail.mil no later than 01:00 am Eastern Time on 29 April 2019.
