The proposed action will be processed as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for items which the Government does not own specifications and/or drawings to permit full and open competition. The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) anticipates contracting without providing for full and open competition under the authority of FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements for crash worthy auxiliary fuel tanks for use in rotary wing aircraft.
