This is a csolicitation for commercial services prepared IAW the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) of FAR 13 as supplemented (Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04). This is not a source selection, the procedures of FAR 15 do not apply. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Naval Special Warfare Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Suzuki (Brand Name) Engine Replacement of one (1) 8M Surface Craft with an option for three (3) additional 8M Surface Craft in FY25. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will utilize a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336611, and the small business size standard is 1,300 employees. This synopsis shall not be construed as a RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
