The Naval Special Warfare Command, Contracting Department, Virginia Beach VA, 23459-3324 intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis, Kongsberg Maritime Inc.s uPAP 201 H (MRU-H) Undersea Acoustic Positioning System P/N: 332288 in support of the Naval Special Warfare Command Group EIGHT The underseas acoustic position system requirement will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 334511. The size standard is no more than 1250. This synopsis shall not be construed as an RFQ or an obligation on the part of the Government. A complete Request for Quote package will be available for downloading on or about 08 February 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
