Notice of intent to issue a sole source contract award to Innovation Marine Corp. Sarasota, FL (CAGE: 0EB40) The Government intends to issue a sole source, five-year, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for familiarization training on the function, design, troubleshooting, preventative and corrective maintenance of the Viking 700 High Power Diesel Engine. The services will be required under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Subpart 13. The estimated contract value is $250,000.00. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award with an anticipated award date on or around 4 September 2019. Innovation Marine Corp is the sole provider of the required instruction courses due to the proprietary rights of their technical capabilities associated with the Viking 700 High Power Diesel Engine. Innovative Marine LLC does not authorize any other service training providers to perform these types of training. The diesel engines used are unique to the CCA and no other substitute diesel engine training will sufficiently prepare personnel to conduct necessary maintenance and repair. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333618 with a size standard of 1500.
