This Request for Information (RFI) is being published for purposes of market research (FAR Part 10) to determine the level of industry interest and identify potential sources capable of providing and installing a 500 gallon Wash Rack Bilge Waste Tank above ground to drain bilges of various equipment while conducting wash rack operations. Formal quotes from industry are not being requested or accepted at this time. Information received from this RFI notification will be used to ascertain potential market capability and determine the acquisition strategy (ex. full and open/small business set-aside, etc.). The Government’s intent is to release a Request for Quote (RFQ), which will be posted on the sam.gov website after finalization of the acquisition strategy. The Government’s intent is to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the purchase and installation of the Wash Rack Bilge Waste Tank. Additional Information regarding the Tank: -500 Gallon rectangular "S Style" double wall UL-142 aboveground tank measuring at: Width: 4’3” Height: 2’9” Length: 6’2”. Tank shall have 6” fitting on top of tank and 2” fitting in the head of tank. Tank shall be made of mild carbon steel and coated with Epoxy primer/Urethane Topcoat-SP-6 Blast (White). -Tank Monitoring Equipment shall include AA Single Channel Battery Powered Alarm Box and a 6" Stainless Steel Adjustable Level Sensor. -Tank Equipment shall include OPW 61fSTOP-2000 2" X 4" Overfill Prevention Valve, 2" Swing Check Valve, OEM 14025 2" Mushroom Vent, 4" 8 oz. Emergency Vent Male Thread, 2" Full Port Locking Ball Valve, 2" Direct Read Clock Gauge, Rectangular Tank Gallon Dial Face, 6BPL 6" Black Plug, Decal Package, Painted Pump and Hose Reel Stands, Miscellaneous Pipe and Fittings, and Electrical Supplies. -Pump and Hose accessories shall include 23FA-EC Pump, 2HP 1/60/110V Motor, Starter Control Panel, 50 Feet 2" Suction Hose EPDM and Probe, EPJ8234-26-27 Suction/Discharge Reel, 115V Electric Rewind Reel with Junction Box and EP Switch, and Inlet Swivel with Viton Seals.
