Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Command has a requirement for an approved Fixed Gas Extinguishing System, to include installation and testing, into a government owned Battery Container (MILVAN) to be used for the storage, maintenance, and charging of spare batteries. The Battery Container will be provided by the Government. The Government intends to award a purchase order type contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract Line Items. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, utilizing full and open competition. The solicitation will be posted under this synopsis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 811310, and the small business size standard is $7.5M. This synopsis shall not be construed as a RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
