This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures using FAR subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written formal solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with Technical Instruction NAVAIR 13-1-6.5 for Rescue and Survival Equipment a Supplemental Emergency Breathing Devices (SEBD) —SEBD shall be carried by all helicopter, tiltrotor, E-2, and C-2 aircrew and passengers during overwater flight. NSW and tenant commands utilize the Aqualung Survival Egress Air (SEA) LV2 emergency breathing device for this requirement.
